Large volume planters meet the
demanding requirements of Landscape Architects and
serious gardeners.
DSD's design allows
installation of thriving flower gardens, hedges, and
trees, even on south and west-facing exposures. Their rectangular shape
and higher volume are a cost-effective, contemporary
design alternative to a clutter of pots that are not as
conducive to serious landscaping.

Our design separates
the decorative box from the pots or liners which

ball from the intense solar gain that damages

modular design allows for any part to be replaced in

replace the whole planter.

Built from 3/4"
planking, wood options include plantation-grown
Lyptus, as well
as Jatoba (Brazilian Cherry), Cumaru (Brazilian
Teak), and Ipe.

Wood is finished
with Thompson's WaterSeal.

Proprietary extruded
legs of 6063-T5 aluminum are finished with a durable
etched marine anodized finish and non-scuff feet.
Lockable security devices optional.

Stainless steel
fasteners are installed with dialectric paste to
prevent corrosion.

WOOD OPTIONS
We stock four species of
tropical hardwoods that have been used in outdoor
applications for centuries. Because wood is a
natural material, there is variation in grains and color
within the same species. The samples pictured below give
you an idea of the range of color for each type of wood.

Drain attachments with
overflow control allow any liner to be used in
interior and exterior installations.

Replaceable 1/2" thick foot pads created from a matching aluminum-colored
marine-grade polymer to resist UV degradation while
protecting your planter from standing water and your flooring
from scratches. They can be custom made to fit
the camber in your yacht's deck or sloping patios.

Custom
stainless steel security clips can secure the planter to the deck of your
residence or sea-going vessel. These same hidden brackets
can be used with theft-resistant fasteners for secure installations
in public and exceptionally windy spaces.

Other options include several trim styles,
a
garden gate, a
trellis insert, an aluminum
honeycomb shelf upon which to rest already potted plants,
and a padded storage bag for yachts.
